Entrepreneurial Track Record: At least 3 years of successful business experience.
Company Turnover: The company must have an annual turnover of at least SGD 200 million in the year immediately preceding the application and an average annual turnover of at least SGD 200 million over the past three years.
Ownership: A minimum of 30% ownership in the company if it is privately held. If publicly listed, the applicant should be one of the largest individual shareholders.
Sector: The business must operate in one of the approved sectors listed in Annex B of the GIP guidelines.
2. Next-Generation Business Owners
Family Ownership: The applicant’s immediate family must own at least 30% or be the largest shareholder in a company with an annual turnover of at least SGD 500 million in the year immediately preceding the application and an average annual turnover of at least SGD 500 million over the past three years.
Management Role: The applicant must be actively involved in the management team of the company.
Sector: The company must operate in one of the approved sectors listed in Annex B.
3. Founders of Fast-Growth Companies
Company Valuation: The company must have a valuation of at least SGD 500 million.
Investment: The company should have received investments from reputable venture capital or private equity firms.

4. Family Office Principals
Experience: At least 5 years of entrepreneurial, investment, or management experience.
Assets Under Management (AUM): The applicant must manage a minimum of SGD 200 million in net investible assets.
Investment: A minimum of SGD 50 million must be invested in one of the four approved investment categories.

Applicants must choose one of the following investment options to qualify for the GIP:
Option A: Business Investment
Investment Amount: A minimum of SGD 10 million in a new or existing Singapore-based business.
Ownership: The applicant must hold at least 30% of the business and be part of the management team.
Employment Creation: The business must create local employment opportunities, with at least 30 employees, half of whom must be Singapore Citizens, and at least 10 new employees.
Option B: GIP-Approved Fund Investment
Investment Amount: A minimum of SGD 25 million in a GIP-approved fund that invests in Singapore-based companies.
Fund Criteria: The fund must be incorporated and based in Singapore, with a minimum fund size of SGD 200 million, and invest at least 50% of its GIP funds in Singapore-based companies within the approved sectors.
Option C: Family Office Investment
Investment Amount: A minimum of SGD 50 million in a new or existing Singapore-based single-family office.
Assets Under Management (AUM): The family office must manage at least SGD 200 million in net investible assets.
Investment Deployment: At least SGD 50 million must be deployed in one of the four approved investment categories.
Business Plan: A detailed 5-year business plan must be submitted, outlining the family’s investment strategy, projected employment, and financial projections.
